The New England states are known for their fall foliage displays, showcasing vibrant hues of red, orange, and yellow that attract travelers from far and wide. However, there is another captivating area in this great country, and that area is the upper Midwest, particularly the stunning states of Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin. My wife and I embarked on this memorable trip in the fall of 2009, eager to explore the autumn splendor of these regions. As we traveled through picturesque towns and breathtaking landscapes, we were mesmerized by the natural beauty surrounding us. From the rolling hills dotted with colorful trees to the serene lakes reflecting the clear blue skies, every moment was a feast for the eyes. The unique charm of this bus trip encouraged the spirit of adventure, and I couldn’t resist writing a forty-page book on this adventure after we returned home. It was truly an interesting and exciting journey filled with delightful surprises, local folklore, and encounters with fellow travelers who shared our enthusiasm. Hope you enjoy the vivid descriptions and experiences I’ve captured from our unforgettable journey.
