I have been on WordPress since 2009 and have posted over 500 stories. I have been doing this just for fun. I have never had any intention of reaping any financial benefits. Barring any long-term care my wife and I are able to live sufficiently with Social Security, small pensions, and investments. Since we are on a fixed income, it would be enlightening to receive some additional income.

Some have said to me I should attempt to get some supplemental income from my website, and I will be surprised at the outcome. My response, it is difficult to compete with “free” and the large number of authors and writers that have more talent than me.
