What’s a quote that perfectly describes your outlook on life?

As I have said many times, just be yourself and embrace the unique qualities that define who you are. It took me over sixty years to realize that I was created to be myself, with all my strengths and imperfections. After this important realization, I have become more at ease with my identity and my choices. For many years, I have been told by various voices, whether family, friends, or society at large, that I should be more like my brother or Johnny, or that there were numerous other examples that pointed to the fact that I needed improvement. These comparisons often left me feeling inadequate, as if there was a mold I was supposed to fit into, but I have since learned that true contentment comes from honoring my individuality and recognizing that everyone’s path is different. Embracing who I am not only brought me peace but also a deeper understanding of the richness that diversity brings to our lives.
