What I Found While Walking

Daily writing prompt
What’s the best thing you’ve ever found randomly on the street?

I was taking a walk around the greenbelt one day and walked across this. I am speculating someone had it in their pocket and got something out of the pocket and it inadvertently fell out and they didn’t know.

When I got home and did an internet search on Ken Onion Design, I stumbled upon a variety of designs that caught my attention. The one I found that looked remarkably similar to the knife I had discovered had a price tag of $132.00, which, I noticed, was part of a broader range that spanned from $70.00 to a staggering $300.00 depending on the model and features. While I could appreciate the craftsmanship and unique aesthetics behind these knives, I found myself firmly resolute in my belief that I would never spend that much for a knife, no matter how beautifully designed or sharp it appeared to be. After all, for me, functionality and practicality often outweigh the allure of a high price tag.
