What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever done when no one was watching?

Sometime when I was maybe ten twelve years old, I was home alone and walking around on the carpet in my bare feet. I found a sewing needle my mother or grandma mistakenly dropped it and was sticking up in the carpet. I found it by stepping on it and entered the ball of my foot. There I was laying in pain and I looked at it and decided to pull it out. It went so deep it hit the bone and you could see where the pointed edge was bent where it hit the bone. I never told anyone about the incident and fortunately that puncture would never become infected and this secret was hidden until now.
