In September of 2007, my wife, Dee and I took a trip to Italy, a journey that turned out to be one of the most enjoyable and exciting experiences of our lives. As we wandered through the enchanting streets of Rome, admired the breathtaking art in Florence, and savored the delectable cuisine. I felt an overwhelming urge to document our adventures. During this time, I also heard of a self-publishing site from a fellow blogger, which sparked a new idea in my mind. Somewhere in 2008, inspired by our unforgettable Italian getaway, I decided to take the plunge and try my hand at publishing a book, believing our trip to Italy was an ideal subject to share with others.
